Broken was created in the Spring of 2004.  Broken, an 'experimental album,' was created using only MIDI files for the supporting background accompaniment. This album's main purpose was to expose Patrick to the workings of a recording studio and to teach him the basics on mixing music with a sound board.  Overall, Patrick was more pleased with the experience than the album itself, but both were a positive experience.  The title of the album, Broken, comes from a song title on the album.  The album essentially proposes a message of persistence.  It encourages people to follow their destinies, come hell or high water.  The song, Broken, captures the spirit of the album best - reminding us that misfortunes are inevitable, but in order to persevere... you must turn to those who can help you - and be who you are.
